| Welcome to Gemini Stargazer Online, personal web space of an avid amateur astronomer. My fascination with stars and always wondering what they were throughout my childhood years eventually led me many years later to discover a love for astronomy and a desire to explore and find out more about the stars, planets, asteroids, and other deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. All of which has led me ultimately to want to find out as much as possible about the universe and cosmology as a whole. I like to travel around the world in my spare time, observing and photographing the heavens as much as I can at every opportunity.I am a (fRAS) "friend" of the Royal Astronomical Society, and also a member of the NMM Royal Observatory in Greenwich. I am passionate about Formula1 racing, I love music (especially improvisational music such as Jazz and Ragtime), astronomy, and traveling around the globe. I have been everywhere, from the Americas to Europe and South Africa. I try to keep a travel log of my adventures whilst taking in all of the wondrous sights in the "heavens" whenever and wherever I can.Check out the lovely photo gallery for a glimpse into the kinds of stuff I've been checking out lately. I'm always keen to hear from fellow amateur astronomers and stargazers, so feel free to get in touch. |
